How do I apply for a mortgage with you?

I would like to switch my mortgage to you, can I do this?

Please contact your financial adviser who will be able to advise on the most appropriate options available for you.

I’m self-employed; would you still consider me as a borrower?

We are able to consider self-employed individuals for our mortgage products. Please contact your financial adviser who will be able to advise on the most appropriate options available for you and the products we have to offer.

How do I request an annual mortgage statement from you?

How do I ensure that my mortgage repayments are on track?

It is important that you check your mortgage repayments are on track on a regular basis, which is something we would recommend you do as a minimum annually. Your mortgage statement will confirm the amount that remains on your mortgage – if you would like to request a statement or discuss your repayments with a member of our customer support team please call is on 0800 298 5714.

What should I do if I am struggling to make my mortgage repayments?

It is important that if you are experiencing difficulty in meeting your mortgage repayments you contact us as soon as possible. Remember, we are here to help and the sooner you contact us to discuss your circumstances will mean the earlier we can try and help you.

Can I make overpayments on my mortgage?

Should you wish to, you are able to make lump sum or regular overpayments on your mortgage. If you choose to do this an early repayment charge may apply if this payment is made within the period that early repayment charges are applicable. If you do wish to make an early repayment, you will need to confirm the following to us:

  • you are making a payment to repay the mortgage either fully or partially
  • That you wish us to use that payment to reduce the balance on which we charge interest.

If the above information is not received, the overpayments will not reduce the balance on which we charge interest or cause a change to your monthly payment.

I am moving property, what do I do next with my current mortgage?

This depends on the type of mortgage you hold with us. Please review your original mortgage terms and conditions to see if your current mortgage is able to be transferred to a new property. If it can be transferred please call us on 0800 298 5714 to discuss next steps. If it is not possible to transfer your mortgage would we recommend that you speak with your financial adviser who will be able to look at the most appropriate options for you.
